The last couple weeks have been challenging to say the least. On 18th October I had an item at the evening meeting which meant I needed to go in person rather than over Zoom.
This meant getting property dressed for the meeting. Driving, then sitting there for two hours. After that I spent 30 mins or so speaking to people and then had to take something to someone in the car before driving home again. It was just after 10 p.m. that we got home.
I suspected that this was going to drive me outside my energy limit and I was not wrong.i doesn’t the next few days in bed and only managed to get back to work the following Tuesday.
The rest of the week I’ve taken really easily and haven’t actually done a great deal of work. My pain levels have gone up drastically. I’m writing this now from bed before trying to settle down to sleep but have been in bed around 5 times today already. It’s safe to say that while I managed to work again since Tuesday I am still very much in the crash brought on by that late night.
I honestly don’t know what to do.
How was my day today?
As a very quick visual guide to how my day has been with regard to fatigue, pain, and cognitive dysfunction, I have expressed these as simple lines representing percentages. From 0 meaning no effect, to 100 meaning maximum affect on my day.
